Almond cookies (Macarons) are famous French confectionery which have become one of the popular brands of Paris.
The first macarons as we know them were cooked in French bakery Laduree. That is where one day two almond cookies were sandwiched together with cream. Since that time Macarons have become extremely popular not only in France but all over the world.
And now the famous French cookie is baked in the center of Sochi.
